Official Opening of Manufacturing & Technology Centre

On November 1st, 2022, Inspiration Healthcare Group plc welcomed HM Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, and his Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Croydon, Colonel Ray Wilkinson QVRM TD DL VR, to their new state-of-the-art Manufacturing and Technology Centre in Commerce Way Croydon. They were greeted by Neil Campbell CEO, Jonathan Ballard CFO, and Brook Nolson COO.

The Lord-Lieutenant and Colonel Wilkinson enjoyed a demonstration of the company’s products in the clinical training suite and were then given a full tour where they learnt about the sustainable initiatives which have been built into the design of the building.

Sir Kenneth officially opened the Manufacturing and Technology Centre by unveiling a commemorative plaque in the reception area of the Unit 7 building on the site. In his speech at the opening ceremony, Sir Kenneth referenced the Group’s commitment to the environment, ‘Commitment to the environment and making sure what you do is positive and not negative to the environment‘.He also commented on the diversity of the workforce “you have a seriously diverse workforce, gender, ethnicity, age it’s all there and it’s a role model of what we can do in the country if we put our mind to it

Many of the team are from the local Croydon area, and employee wellbeing is at the forefront of company culture, including the introduction of new initiatives such as flexible working and a 4-day working week which many of the staff have trialled during the past year.

Neil Campbell, CEO added, “We are proud to open our new Manufacturing and Technology Centre here in Croydon, it offers great career opportunities in the local area and was specifically chosen due to its vicinity to our old manufacturing site which meant we could limit any impact on existing staff.
