Coming Soon: Train the Trainer Session for the SLE6000H, C & N –
Empowering Local Clinical Educators

We’re excited to announce an upcoming Train the Trainer (TTT) session focused on the SLE6000H, C & N ventilators – a dedicated workshop designed to empower senior clinical staff & educators with the knowledge and confidence to train others in their teams effectively.
Why Train the Trainer?
The TTT model ensures a sustainable & efficient approach to education. By equipping a core group of key users, such as clinical educators, Neonatologists, senior neonatal nurses, respiratory physiologists, and ANNPs, we help build local confidence and ensure consistent practice throughout the unit.
Once trained, these individuals can cascade knowledge to colleagues, new starters, & rotating staff, ensuring your team is confident & competent in using all configurations of the SLE6000.
What to Expect?
This session will be interactive & hands-on, with a focus on practical skills & real-world application. We’ll cover:
🔹 Understanding the key differences between the SLE6000H, C & N models
🔹 How to set up & optimise each ventilator for specific clinical needs
🔹 VTV : principles, settings & troubleshooting
🔹 Low tidal volumes during HFO: protecting fragile neonatal lungs
🔹 Strategies for delivering effective NIV & nHFOV with the SLE6000N
🔹 Alarm handling, waveform interpretation, & common user pitfalls
🔹 Tips for delivering clear, consistent local training sessions
🔹 Access to training materials & teaching resources
Who Should Attend?
This session is ideal for those in a teaching, supervisory or advanced practice role within neonatal or paediatric intensive care. Whether your unit uses all three SLE6000 configurations or a mix, this workshop will support you in becoming a confident local resource.
Supporting You Beyond the Session
Attendees will receive a package of editable training tools, including reference guides & teaching slides– all designed to support in-house education & maintain consistency of practice.
