The American College of Surgeons recommends, “The use of preoperative warming prior to short, clean cases has been shown to reduce SSI and is recommended. For longer cases, both preoperative warming and ongoing temperature monitoring and warming measures are recommended.” Mattresses are reusable, have a 3 year life expectancy, and are available in a variety of sizes.
CosyTherm2 Mattress
Temperature management for a neonate is often challenging. Active warming of pre-term and term neonates can reduce complications and improve outcomes. Mattresses are reusable, have a 3 year life expectancy, and are available to suit a full range bassinets and warmers.
